Reus, Girona and BArcelona Airport Transfers

Transfers to Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda, could not be easier, with Reus airport being just a few km's from Salou journey time via taxi is around 15 to 20 minutes. A typical taxi journey cost about €30 - €40 each way. If you are in a larger party there are some 7 seater taxi's, but a short wait may be needed for these. The taxi's are generally very helpful and the fares fixed depending on which part of the resort you are going to. They also have the special way of driving that prepares you for the rides at the Port Aventura theme park.

If you prefer to arrange your tansfers before you go, there are various companies, Resort Hoppa, Key Transfers , Transfer Store and Shuttledirect are the most well known. you can book with these to give you that peace of mind that you will get to your hotel or apartment easilt and swiftly.

There is a bus service that meets most scheduled flights and charges a few euros per person for the transfer and will drop you off at your hotel, but remember this may take considerably longer than a taxi depending on where your hotel or apartment is. This service can also be organised to pick you up at your hotel to take you back to the airport, although I have heard quite a few stories of the coach turning up late or not at all.

There are also several bus services that take you to Tarragona and Reus, after the shortish trip, the bus drops you at the main Reus bus terminal where there are ongoing buses to Salou, please be warned there can be a lengthy wait for a bus at the bus terminal in Reus which may be troublesome with children. It also has to be said that the Reus bus terminal is not the nicest of looking places, although the last time I was there, there was work going on updating the bus terminal. There also seems to be a certain lack of taxi's anywhere near the bus station.


Barcelona and Girona Transfers - If you flying into Barcelona or Girona airports then the transfer time to Salou, Cambrils or La Pineda will be around two hours plus, and it may well be better booking your transfer before you leave.

There are direct coach and train services from Barcelona to Salou but you will need to check times carefully. You should also be aware that train tickets are not available to use on every service and seem to be dependent on the operator.
