H10 Delfin Park

The H10 Delfin Park is ideally situated in central Salou just 200 metres from Salou's Levante Beach. This comfortable hotel has a light airy buffet restaurant, two bars, two swimming pools and childrens pool plus much more.
The minute you enter the hotel through the grand entrance you notice the H10 quality and cleanliness.
Checking in to the H10 Delfin Park was one of the quickest I have known and the staff very helpful.We was given our swipe card door key and a card with our designated table number for dinner and also our allocated time which although a little restrictive did not pose a problem, and when speaking to others in the hotel it seems they are a little flexible if you ask.
The lifts and stairways to our room on the fourth floor again were very clean and smart with the rooms easy to find. The room itself was immaculate. As we were using the room as a triple there was an extra bed in the room and although this made the room a little cramped is was still comfortable.
The beds were comfortable and again were nicely made up. The LCD television on the wall was easy to view from the beds and had a good selection of channels including some international channels. The bathroom was well equipped with bath/shower and hairdryer.
There was a mini-bar and safe in the room which could be used with a small extra payment. The balcony was nice and large with more than adequate furniture.
Breakfast is taken in the same restaurant as dinner with the difference you can sit at any table you like.. The breakfast is buffet style and caters very well for all tastes with a great range of hot cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, cold meats, cakes and yoghurts.
Dinner again offered a broad range of choices with a selection of meat, fish, pasta, soup, salads and plenty of choices for children as well. Children (and adults) will particualarly like the sumptuous desserts on offer. Food was attractively displayed. There are also grill chefs cooking at the buffet which gave the restaurant a bit more atmosphere. Drinks (pay extra) are served at the table.
The main bar area is next to the main reception area and also close to the pools, the bar is large with plenty of seating and a varied programme of nightly entertainment is put on for guests. Table service is available and again the service from the bar staff received no complaints from myself.
Also on the same floor is the smaller 'Cats' bar. During the main season there is also a bar area outside next to the pools.
There are three swimming pools at the H10 Delfin Park a main pool and two smaller pools which one is for younger children. The outside area is very clean and tidy with plenty of sun beds and tables and nicely landscaped with the palms providing some nice shade.. A waiter service serves drinks to your table while you sit in the sun. The main swimming pool has a jacuzzi which is popular.
During my stay there was a lifegaurd in attendance at the pool for the whole time and made sure the children played safe and had fun without going over the top.
As well as the pools the H10 Delfin Park offers billiards and pool, gaming machines, Solarium, and a small gym.
Wifi is available throughtout the hotel at an extra cost.
The hotel is centrally located and close to the shops, bars and restaurants. The main Levante beach in Salou is just a 5 minutes walk away. A well stock local supermarket should you need it is available opposite the entrance to the hotel.
Bus stops are close by, where you can catch frequent buses to Cambrils, La Pineda and of course the PortAventura theme park which is just a few minutes ride away.
On our departure day our check-out time was 10am and our flight was not until 8pm. I spoke to reception and that gladly allowed us the use of the room on a late check-out until 6pm with a charge of just 25 euros. This proved a godsend and also gave us an extra days holiday.
Overall our stay at the H10 Delfin Park was pleasant and relaxing and definately a hotel we will be returning to.
