Cye Holiday Centre Salou, Costa Dorada, Spain
The Cye Holiday Centre is situated in Cl Paris.
The Cye Holiday Centre is around 400m from the beach and the main resort centre. Far enough away from the bustle of the Salou nightlife making it better for families with young children, but close enough for an easy walk.
The 'Cye' has a large outdoor pool area with sunbeds and sackas and drinks, there is an on-site small supermarket for essential items but several large others nearby. There is a large restaurant, bar, games room and kids club. The is also a small childrens play area.
The apartments themselves are vary large and clean and well equipped.
The Cye was the very first place I stayed in Salou. A largish complex and used by many of the main tour operators. There main Salou - Barcelona railway line passes right next to the complex and although we heard of many people complaining about the noise of the trains in the early hours I have to say that I heard none. Yes there are trains but the noise of them is drowned out by the general noise of the complex itself. (The noise may be a problem if your in an apartment closed to the line).
Entertainment is on most night with several entertainers and karaoke. Children seem to love the Cye, but if you have very young children the noise of the entertainment does go on quite late and may also be a problem. This is more so if your apartment is above the bar area. Although this is much the same as any complex offering entertainment.
Overall the Cye is of good quality, and good for families with children.
