Salouis the busiest of the Costa Dorada resorts, Served by Reus airport and with a flight time of around 2 hours from the UK. The cultural city of Barcelona is about an hours drive away, and the PortAventura theme park just a few minutes away by bus or taxi.
Salou's main safe blue flag beach is Playa de Llevant and is over 1200 metres long,
PortAventura Theme ParkPortAventura theme park is a must, walking through the five different themed lands brings you to the many rides and attractions, and with the vast array of fantastic live action shows there is enough to keep any age group happy.
Cambrils & La PinedaCambrils in situated just to the west of Salou. A small fishing port boasting glorious beaches, and a busy marina. Cambrils has the best seafood restaurants in the area.
La Pineda is to the east of Salou and is ideally suited to family holidays for families with small children. Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda have excellent bus conenctions.

Flights are available from low cost airlines and tour operators direct to Reus Airport as well as to the Barcelona airports.
Transfers from the airport to your hotel take only 15 minutes via taxi. Their is also an airport bus that meets most low cost airline flights. If you prefer you can pre-book your transfers before you go, knowing that once you clear arrivals you can be whisked off straight to your hotel.
BarcelonaAn hours drive away from Salou is the beautiful cultural city of Barcelona. See the works of Antoni Gaud, stroll down 'Las Ramblas' and soak up the catalonian sunshine and atmoshpere. A popular attraction in Barcelona is the famous Nou Camp, home of FC Barcelona, tours are available of this fantastic stadium and the FC Barcelona museum.
As well as the galleries, museums and many parks to explore there is of course a massive choice of international restaurants, cafes and tapas bars offering every type of cuisine you could imagine. Barcleona is easily reached by car or direct by train and coach from Salou, look for the Plana bus ticket booths around Salou, where you can book your tickets and get further information on coach tours and trips.
